'The UN was established after World War II with the aim of preventing future wars, succeeding the League of Nations, which was characterized as ineffective. On 25 April 1945, 50 governments met in San Francisco for a conference and started drafting the UN Charter, which was adopted on 25 June 1945 and took effect on 24 October 1945, when the UN began operations. Pursuant to the Charter, the organization's objectives include maintaining international peace and security, protecting human rights, delivering humanitarian aid, promoting sustainable development, and upholding international law. Εισαγωγή στην συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη (EQ) Πολλοί ειδικοί πιστεύουν ότι συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη ενός ατόμου (EQ) μπορεί να είναι πιο σημαντικό από το IQ και σίγουρα αποδεικνύεται ένας καλύτερος προγνωστικός παράγοντας για την επιτυχία, την ποιότητα των σχέσεων και τη γενική ευτυχία. {έρευνα} Είναι ενδιαφέρον να σημειωθεί πως η έννοια της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης έχει εξελιχθεί με την πάροδο των ετών. Από πότε η γνωστή φράση “όλα καλά” αρχίζει να αποδίδεται με τη συντομογραφία του OΚ και ποιες είναι οι πιθανές προελεύσεις της λέξης που αγαπάμε να χρησιμοποιούμε με τόση συχνότητα σήμερα; Η γνωστή λέξη ΟΚ καταγράφεται για πρώτη φορά, σαν σήμερα το 1839. Θεωρείται ότι η καταγωγή της προέρχεται από την ελληνική φράση, "Όλα καλά" που συνήθιζαν να γράφουν οι πρόγονοι μετανάστες πάνω στα κιβώτια με το εμπόρευμα όταν δούλευαν στα λιμάνια. Η εφημερίδα της εποχής, Boston Morning Post την άνοιξη του 1838, κάνει γνωστή την παρακάτω θεωρία. Σημειώνει ότι ο όρος προέρχεται από το ανορθόγραφο "Oll Korrect", αντί για το σωστό All Correct. Οι συντάκτες του εντύπου θεωρούν σωστή την κρίση τους, καθώς το 1839 δεν ήταν η εποχή της μετανάστευσης στον νέο κόσμο για τους Έλληνες. Έκτοτε οι εφημερίδες αρχίζουν να χρησιμοποιούν χιουμοριστικές συντομογραφίες που προέρχονταν από ανορθόγραφες εκφράσεις. Έτσι η συντομογραφία OW ήταν το "oll wright", δηλαδή το ανορθόγραφο ...
